Referral Partners: Co-branded onboarding - customization and branding options

Co-branded onboarding: your customers see your logo and primary color, with Debitura visible as the platform provider. What you can customize, how it is configured and where your customers see Debitura.

What it is

Co-branded onboarding lets you apply your own branding to the Debitura onboarding experience that your customers see. The onboarding pages show your logo and use your primary color, and the welcome email can use your own template. Debitura stays visible as the platform that runs the service: the agreements your customers sign name Debitura as the platform provider, and your customer gets its own Debitura account.

This applies to the client onboarding flow where your customers confirm their company details, add users, and sign the Standard Debt Collection Agreement (SDCA).

Why it matters

Co-branded onboarding helps you deliver a cohesive customer experience. When your customers click "Send to Collection" in your platform, they see your branding throughout the onboarding process. This builds trust and reinforces that the debt collection service is part of your product offering.

The result: your customers get debt collection inside the tool they already use, with Debitura shown as the platform that runs it. You stay the visible owner of the customer relationship, and when your customers have questions about their cases, contract signing or collection progress, they can contact Debitura support directly.

How it works

Visual branding elements

You can customize the following visual elements for the onboarding pages:

Element

Description

Example

Logo

Displayed in the top-left of onboarding pages

Your company logo (PNG or similar)

Primary color

The one brand color used as the accent color of the onboarding pages (Debitura green if none is set)

Hex color code (e.g., #1E3A8A)

Your logo and primary color appear across the onboarding steps: company details confirmation, user management, and agreement signing. The onboarding pages do not apply a custom font or text color.

Email branding

You can also customize the welcome email sent to your customers after they complete onboarding and sign the SDCA. This uses a custom SendGrid email template that you provide.

The welcome email can include your messaging, tone, and visual style. Debitura sends it to each user on your customer's account, with that user's own link to set a password. It is sent from [email protected] with the sender name Debitura. The template can use variables such as the user's name, email address and set-password link. For the developer reference, see Developer Docs: Referral Partner API reference. If you do not provide a template, no welcome email is sent.

Onboarding flow branding

The co-branded onboarding application (referral.debitura.com) presents these steps to your customers:

  1. Company Details - Confirm or update company information

  2. Users and Roles - Add team members (optional)

  3. KYC verification - Only when the customer is routed to a collection partner that requires it; skipped otherwise

  4. Sign Agreements - Electronically sign the SDCA (and Power of Attorney if needed)

  5. Complete - Confirmation page with redirect back to your platform

Your branding is displayed throughout the onboarding, creating a consistent experience.

Configuration process

Branding options are configured by Debitura during your partner integration. As part of the go-live checklist, you provide your branding assets (logo, primary color, SendGrid template ID), and Debitura applies them to your partner account.

Branding is not self-service. To update your branding after launch, contact your Debitura account manager or the partnerships team.

Where your customers see Debitura

Onboarding is co-branded: your branding leads, and Debitura's role is shown rather than hidden. Your customers see Debitura in these places:

  • The address - the onboarding pages are hosted on referral.debitura.com.

  • The agreements - the Standard Debt Collection Agreement (SDCA) your customers sign names Debitura as the platform provider. This is required for legal and compliance reasons.

  • Their account - onboarding creates your customer's own Debitura account. If you provide a welcome email template, the welcome email with each user's set-password link is sent from [email protected] with the sender name Debitura.

Redirect after completion

After your customer completes onboarding, they are redirected back to your platform. With the Full Integration, you can specify a return URL for deep linking (e.g., returning the customer to a specific page in your app) or rely on a fallback redirect URL configured in your partner account. With the Starter Integration, the same co-branded onboarding pages are used, and your customer always returns to the destination configured on your partner account.
