Debitura services overview: what we offer and who we help

Debitura is a tech-driven platform for cross-border debt recovery that connects business creditors with licensed local debt collection agencies and law firms.

Updated over a week ago

What Debitura is (and is not)

Debitura is a software intermediary that operates the debt collection platform. Debitura does not act as a debt collection agency or law firm; regulated collection and legal work is carried out by licensed local partners in the debtor's jurisdiction. Debitura does not provide legal advice.

The platform connects clients (creditors) with vetted collection partners and provides the portal where cases are managed. Debitura maintains the software, manages case communication, and ensures data privacy and compliance.

Services Debitura offers

Debitura provides the following services to support debt recovery:

1. Pre-legal (amicable) debt collection

Debitura routes each claim to local experts in the debtor's country for pre-legal recovery. Collection partners focus on skip tracing, multi-channel outreach (letters, email, SMS, calls), negotiation, and payment plans. Clients track progress through the platform dashboard.

2. Optional legal escalation support

If amicable collection is unsuccessful or a claim is disputed, Debitura can facilitate legal escalation by sourcing competitive, fixed-price quotes from vetted local law firms. Clients decide whether to proceed with litigation; there is no obligation.

3. Case management, transparency, and reporting

Debitura provides a browser-based dashboard for clients to submit cases (single or bulk), manage tasks and documents, communicate with the handling partner via case chat, and follow a case timeline with standardised reporting and portfolio-level visibility.

4. Integrations and API-based automation

Debitura supports integrations and a debt-collection API so clients and software platforms can create and manage cases and retrieve real-time updates directly from their existing systems.

5. Partner network access

Debitura operates a partner network where collection firms and law practices can apply to receive inbound cases in their jurisdictions and upload outbound cases for international recovery through the same platform. See the partner program overview for details.

Who Debitura helps

Clients (businesses owed money)

  • SMEs and small teams: Business owners, finance leads, and AR staff who need a fast, low-admin way to pursue overdue domestic or foreign invoices without upfront cost.

  • Enterprises and multinationals: Credit-control, treasury, and AR operations that need centralised oversight across many markets, reducing vendor fragmentation, standardising reporting, and integrating debt collection into enterprise workflows.

  • Clients access the platform at app.debitura.com.

Collection partners (agencies and law firms)

Local debt collection agencies and law firms that recover debts through the Debitura network. Collection partners can receive inbound cases in their home markets via Debitura's lead generation and workflow standardisation, and expand cross-border reach by uploading outbound cases for international recovery.

There are two main partner types based on how cases are assigned and how revenue is structured:

  • Exclusive Partners receive automatic case assignments for specific jurisdictions under standard Standard Debt Collection Agreement (SDCA) terms.

  • Legal Network Partners receive lead notifications and submit competitive quotes with custom pricing.

Collection partners access the platform at partner.debitura.com.

Referral partners (software and platform providers)

External SaaS platforms (such as accounting software, ERP/CRM tools, or AR automation platforms) that embed Debitura's debt collection capabilities into their own products via API integration. Referral partners act as a channel to bring clients and cases to Debitura; the actual debt recovery is still performed by collection partners.

See the referral program overview for program details.

Geographic coverage

Debitura supports debt recovery in 183 countries through a global network of vetted local collection agencies and law firms. See Countries & jurisdictions: coverage for details.

How pricing works

Debitura operates on a "No Cure, No Pay" model:

  • No upfront platform fees or subscriptions

  • A success fee applies only when debt is successfully recovered

  • Success fee percentages depend on claim size, region, and debt age

Legal action (if chosen) is separately priced and governed by arrangements with the selected law firm.

What to expect

Debitura centralises intake, communication, status tracking, and reporting in one system. Instead of managing multiple agencies, contracts, and reporting formats across jurisdictions, users work through a single platform with standardised terms and transparent pricing.

Each case is handled by licensed local specialists in the debtor's jurisdiction, combining on-the-ground capability with centralised oversight. Recovery outcomes depend on factors such as debtor solvency, documentation quality, and claim age; recovery is not guaranteed.
