Goal
Stop accepting new cases from a specific client, hide that client from your Partner Balance ledger, or both. Both toggles are independent, reversible at any time, and managed from the client's detail page in your Clients list.
When to use each toggle
Toggle | What it does | Use it when |
Stop accepting new cases | Removes you from lead agent matching for new cases from this specific client. Existing cases are not affected. | The client has asked you not to collect on their behalf, you have a conflict of interest, or you cannot service this client for any other reason. |
Hide from Partner Balance | Hides this client's payouts and revenue items from your Partner Balance table and CSV export, and suppresses automated fee-reminder tasks for that client's unpaid commission invoices. | Debitura pays your fees for this client directly rather than through the standard commission flow, so the items would otherwise clutter your balance view. |
Pause case routing for a client
Open your Clients list and click into the client's detail page.
Open the Actions menu and select Stop accepting new cases.
Enter a reason in the text field that appears (for example, "Client has instructed us not to collect"). A reason is required.
Confirm. The client now displays a Routing paused badge in your Clients list while the toggle is on.
While the toggle is on, the platform skips you when matching new cases from this client through lead agent matching. Existing cases stay with you and continue normally.
Important caveat: if Debitura has manually pinned this client to you through an admin override (client partner override or referral partner carveout), those assignments are not affected by this toggle and you may still receive new cases through them. Contact Debitura support if you need to address those.
📋 Non-Exclusive Partners
This toggle is documented as affecting lead agent matching, which is the path most relevant to Exclusive partners. If you are a Legal Network partner and need to stop receiving case opportunities from a specific client, contact Debitura support.
Resume accepting cases
Open the same Actions menu on the client's detail page and select Resume accepting new cases. The Routing paused badge disappears and the client re-enters the matching pool for future cases.
Hide a client from your Partner Balance
Open your Clients list and click into the client's detail page.
Open the Actions menu and select Hide from Partner Balance.
Confirm.
When the toggle is on:
Payouts and revenue items for this client are hidden from your Partner Balance table and CSV export.
Automated fee-reminder tasks for that client's unpaid commission invoices are suppressed.
Your Partner Balance page displays a small note showing how many items are hidden, with a link back to your Clients list. See Partner Balance: fields, calculations, and common questions for the full ledger reference.
Show the client again
Open the same Actions menu on the client's detail page and select Show in Partner Balance. The hidden items reappear in your Partner Balance and the fee-reminder tasks resume.
Where these changes are recorded
Every time you enable or disable either toggle, the change is written to the relationship's audit trail. Debitura support staff can see the current state of both flags and the history of changes when looking up a case or relationship.
