Goal
Attach one or more files to an existing case so your collection partner can access the evidence they need for successful debt recovery.
Before you start
You must be logged in to the client portal.
The case must already exist. If you have not created a case yet, see How to create and submit a case.
Your file must meet these requirements:
Maximum size: 25 MB per file
Allowed formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, JPG, JPEG, PNG, TXT, ZIP, CSV, EML
Steps
Go to Cases in the client portal.
Find and open the case you want to add documents to.
Locate the files section on the case page.
Click the upload button and select your file from your computer.
Wait for the upload to complete. A confirmation appears when the file is attached successfully.
Repeat these steps to upload additional files as needed.
Result
Your uploaded file now appears in the files section of the case. The collection partner assigned to your case can view and download the document to support collection activities. The file is also available for case validation if the case is still pending verification.
What types of documents to upload
The documentation you need depends on your claim value and type. For detailed requirements, see Documents and evidence checklist.
Common documents include:
Original invoice
Contract or agreement
Proof of delivery or service completion
Correspondence with the debtor
Dispute-related evidence
Edge cases
File too large: If your file exceeds 25 MB, compress it or split it into smaller parts before uploading.
File type not allowed: Convert your file to an allowed format. PDF is preferred for formal documents.
Limit during case creation: When creating a new case, you can upload a maximum of 5 files. To add more documents, first submit the case, then open it and upload additional files from the case page.
Upload fails: If your upload does not complete, see Document upload fails for troubleshooting steps.
Who can see uploaded files
Files you upload are visible to you and to the collection partner working on your case. You can delete files you uploaded yourself, but you cannot delete files uploaded by your collection partner.
