Clients: I don't have partner coverage in a country

When you try to create a case, you may see a message indicating that your case requires custom pricing because no local partner operates under standard No Cure, No Pay rates in that jurisdiction.

Problem

When creating a case through the Create Case page, the system indicates that your case requires custom pricing because no local partner operates under standard No Cure, No Pay rates in that jurisdiction. You can still submit the case - it will be sent to Debitura’s legal network, where vetted local partners submit competitive quotes.

Likely causes

Partner coverage gaps occur for two main reasons:

  • Geographic coverage: No collection partner operates in the debtor's jurisdiction. While Debitura aims for global coverage, some regions are not yet supported.

  • Partner requirements not met: Partners exist in the jurisdiction but have specific case requirements that your case does not meet. Common examples include:

  • Minimum claim amounts (for example, some partners require claims of $10,000 or higher)

  • Business type restrictions (B2B only, no consumer debt)

  • Industry limitations or other criteria

Debitura matches cases to partners based on four key factors: jurisdiction, claim amount (converted to USD), currency, and debtor type (Company or Private). If your case does not match any partner's configured rules, no assignment can occur.

Self-serve checks

Before escalating to Support, verify the following:

  1. Confirm the debtor's jurisdiction: Ensure you selected the correct country and jurisdiction for the debtor's location. See country coverage reference for guidance.

  2. Check the claim amount: Debitura requires a minimum claim of $100 USD equivalent. Some partners have higher thresholds. If your claim is near partner minimums, increasing the amount (if legitimate additional fees or interest apply) may help.

  3. Verify debtor type: Some partners only accept B2B (Company) cases. If the debtor is an individual (Private), fewer partners may be available.

  4. Review case eligibility: Ensure your case meets the case requirements such as claim type, documentation, and dispute status.

What happens next

If no exclusive pre-legal partner is available, your case may still proceed:

  • Legal network: Cases without exclusive partner coverage are sent to Debitura's legal network, where partners submit competitive quotes. This means collection is still possible, but not under the standard automatic assignment process.

  • Coverage expansion: Debitura tracks all coverage gaps to prioritize adding new partners in underserved regions. Your request contributes to this data.

Escalation

If this does not resolve the issue, contact Debitura Support and include the following details:

  • The debtor's country and jurisdiction (if a specific region within the country)

  • The claim amount and currency

  • The debtor type (Company or Private)

  • A brief description of your business need

This information helps Debitura prioritize partner recruitment and identify potential workarounds for your case.
