Goal
Confirm that your case was received by Debitura and understand what happens in the first hours and days after submission.
1. Open your case list
Go to your case list in the Debitura portal. Your newly submitted case should appear immediately with the status Pending Verification.
2. Verify the status shows "Pending Verification"
Pending Verification confirms your case was received. There is no separate confirmation email for individual case submissions. The presence of the case in your list is your confirmation.

3. If the case does not appear
Refresh the page after a few seconds. If the case still does not appear after one minute, contact [email protected] with details of your submission.

Result: what happens next
"Pending Verification" covers two sequential stages that are displayed identically in your portal:
Automated validation (approximately 1 hour after submission): Debitura's system reviews your case for completeness and eligibility. If the automated check passes, the case advances to partner review automatically. If it does not pass, a Debitura team member reviews it manually, which typically takes 1 to 2 business days. During manual review, Debitura may contact you by email to request additional information. You can also upload missing documents at any time via the case detail page (see Upload documents to a case).
Collection partner review: Once Debitura's internal review is complete, the assigned collection partner reviews the case. The partner may:
Accept the case, moving it to Active (collection work begins).
Request more information, changing the status to More Info Required. You will receive a task to respond (see How to respond to tasks and information requests).
Decline the case, which moves it to Collecting Quotes where other partners in Debitura's network can submit quotes.
Edge cases
Case shows "Pending Verification" for more than 2 business days: Manual review may be in progress. Check your email for any information requests from Debitura. If you have not received any communication, contact [email protected].
You can still edit certain fields while your case is in Pending Verification. Some fields become restricted once the collection partner starts their review.
